Barack Obama…Silver tounged smoothie on the rocks?
Smooth talking, silver tounged promise-maker Barack Obama’s damage control speech was interesting to check out. Watching his verbal waltzes has alway been interesting. Interesting and frightening. The extremely charismatic Obama can easily take advantage of the sheep mentality that most of America embraces. A multitude of promises to assauge every segment of the population makes one wonder which ones will be kept.
What Barack IS extremely good at is keeping a nuetral appearance, holding the middle ground. His speech presence is immense and his words are chosen carefully. He challenges the press to stop confronting an issue by always saying that we need to move on to the business of the election. (move along…nothing to see here folks!) Usually a candidates association with zealots like Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Jr.’s could easily be a campaign-killer. However, Barack Obama is not your usual candidate. Avoiding?. Detracting from the election? You decide.
His lies do not impress me, even wrapped in silver…
